Haralambos “Harry” Kaklamanakis
Haralambos “Harry” Kaklamanakis received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami where he majored in English Literature with a Minor in Theatre.
After graduating, Mr. Kaklamanakis received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law. While in law school, he clerked for the Honorable Patrick A. White in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and was a certified legal intern for the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s office. Throughout law school Harry volunteered with a non profit legal organization that provided a wide variety of essential legal services to Miami-Dade County’s homeless population.
After graduating from law school, Harry served an Assistant Public Defender for Florida’s 15th Judicial Circuit in West Palm Beach. In his three years of service, Harry fought to protect and enforce the civil rights of the most vulnerable in his community; advocating for clients facing allegations ranging from driving with a suspended license, complex white collar litigation, and everything in between against a powerful State government. In that time, Mr. Kaklamanakis tried over 16 cases to jury verdict, filed and argued hundreds of motions in court, and negotiated favorable resolutions on behalf of over 1,500 clients.
In his free time, Harry enjoys the heartache of following University of Miami Athletics, practicing yoga and meditation, and traveling to the Bahamas, where he spent part of his childhood living, to visit family and friends.
